Hua-Hin Beach(Thailand)
Hua Hin Beach overlooks the Gulf of Thailand and is easily accessible. The sea is shallow and suitable for most children and at low tide, the crystal white sand stretches for several kilometers in a wide strip along the coast. The beaches in Hua Hin are known to be family friendly and beautiful.

History of Hua-Hin District in Thailand
Thai royalty have loved Hua-Hin for a long time now – and it’s easy to see why. Before Hua-Hin took on the name of the neighborhood we know and love today, it was a small fishing village known as Samor Riang. In 1834, the original founders gave it the name Samor Riang; which means “all anchors in a row”, because the fishing boats sit together, one by one, on the shore. Samor Riang was an obscure fishing village until the beginning of the 20th century. However, in 1911, the first railway between Bangkok and Hua-Hin was built, which meant that from the first, the Residents of Bangkok can access this site. The aristocracy and minor royals saw the beauty of the place and took advantage of the opportunity to build townhouses and beachside retreats.
Royal influence in Hua-Hin
The relationship between the Thai royal family and Hua-Hin dates back to the early 20th century, when Prince Chakrabhongse first visited the Russian royal family. The king’s interest made the city popular with criminals, who fled to the area to build their own homes. King Rama VII built this place with the name Klaikangwon, which means “place without trouble”. The palace has been used by the family since then and is still in use today. Ever since the royal family began to live here, the leaders of Bangkok have been attracted to Hua-Hin, and it is through their influence that the city has grown as it is today. Things To Do In Hua-Hin
Put your toes in the sand at Hua Hin Beach
Many people who come to this sleepy town come here for the beach. While other beach towns in Thailand are all about nightlife, Hua Hin is a more relaxed place where you can retreat to the beach for hours of sun worship. Hua Hin Beach stretches for about four kilometers – and while it may not be the largest or cleanest in Thailand, it makes up for it by being great for swimming, and -offer many family activities (kitesurfing and banana boat included), and always have. Escape to Khao Takiab Hill and Beach
Khao Takiab Hill offers access to a quiet beach and a great view of Hua Hin from the top. An arts and crafts market open on weekends, Cicada is popular with both Thai and foreign tourists and is especially hot after sunset. The market is divided into four sections that include home decor and fashion items for sale, an art gallery, a large outdoor food court and an area dedicated to music and shows featuring bands. , a musical group, a special pantomime show and a live DJ.
What makes Cicada different from other night markets is really its style. You won’t find cheap plastic souvenirs here, but a lot of handmade items, original paintings and sculptures, contemporary art and even artists who work in glass blowing and painting movie. And although there are many good things you can take home and many opportunities for art shopping in Cicada, the focus is not shopping because there are many opportunities to relax and just enjoy the surroundings. Transport yourself to a different world at Santorini Park
Just 15 minutes away in the nearby town of Cha Am is Santorini Park, a theme park with an interesting community that is as its name suggests. You may not get the amazing ocean views here that you would get in real Santorini, but otherwise, Santorini Park does a great job of bringing the perfect Greek island to Hua Hin.
The whitewashed houses line the cobbled streets, winding around cafes, boutiques and souvenir shops. There’s even an outdoor performance space and a small amusement park here, with a Ferris wheel, carousel, and a number of climbing and adrenaline rides for kids and adults.
